Revitalisasi Literasi Guru untuk Menumbuhkan Budaya Literasi Berkelanjutan Di SD Negeri Bontomaero II

This community service program aims to improve the academic literacy of teachers at SD Negeri Bontomaero II through training on the preparation of high-quality scientific papers that are ready to be published in accredited journals. The main problems faced by the teachers are low literacy skills, difficulties in paraphrasing, limited use of citation applications, and a lack of confidence in writing. The implementation method consists of five stages, namely socialization, training, technology implementation, mentoring and evaluation, and program sustainability. The data analysis technique in this study employs a descriptive quantitative approach by collecting primary data through pre-test and post-test questionnaires administered to participants before and after the training, as well as supporting data obtained through observation during the training process. All questionnaire data were entered into the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) application, and the researchers then calculated the scores of each item, total scores, means, and the percentage change between the pre-training and post-training conditions to describe the pattern of improvement that occurred. The results of the program show a significant increase in teachers’ knowledge and understanding. On average, 95.71% of participants experienced a high to very high increase in scientific writing skills, paraphrasing skills, and the use of the Mendeley application. The teachers succeeded in producing scientific papers that were published in national ISSN-registered journals, reflecting a tangible improvement in academic skills and literacy. Another visible impact is the increased motivation of teachers to continue writing and to guide students in developing literacy. The success of this program demonstrates that technology-based academic literacy training can enhance teacher competence, support the strengthening of a literacy culture, and contribute to improving the quality of education in primary schools.
