Abstract

This program aimed to enhance the competence of elementary school teachers in Pulau Kulambing, Pangkep Regency, in utilizing Quizizz Paper Mode as an innovative learning medium in the context of limited internet access. The implementation method consisted of several stages, including needs assessment, preparation of training materials, workshop activities comprising theoretical presentations, hands-on practice in quiz design, simulation with instructors, and evaluation and reflection. The analysis techniques involved observation of the training process, group discussions with participants, and assessment of target achievements. The results showed that teachers were able to understand the basic concepts of Quizizz, design and print interactive quizzes, and manage learning evaluations more creatively using the paper-based mode. The workshop also produced a video tutorial as a practical product for independent learning and established a teacher communication network to support collaborative experience sharing in developing learning media. The success of the program was supported by school leadership, participants’ commitment, and continuous mentoring from the organizing team, despite challenges such as limited facilities, time constraints, and varying levels of technological understanding. Overall, this workshop contributed significantly to improving the quality of learning in remote areas and may serve as a model for similar training programs in other regions with comparable conditions.
