Abstract

ABSTRAK

Transformasi digital dalam dunia pendidikan telah mendorong adopsi Learning Management System (LMS) sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran matematika. LMS berperan penting dalam mengelola, menyampaikan, dan mengevaluasi proses pembelajaran matematika secara efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi LMS dalam mendukung pembelajaran matematika berbasis digital di sekolah menengah, khususnya dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen pada SMK Muhammadiyah 03 Sukaraja yang telah mengintegrasikan LMS dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. Partisipan terdiri dari guru, dan siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi LMS membantu guru dalam mengelola materi pembelajaran matematika, memberikan tugas, dan memantau kemajuan siswa secara real-time. Siswa merasa lebih mudah mengakses sumber belajar kapan saja dan di mana saja. Namun, tantangan seperti kendala infrastruktur teknologi dan kurangnya keterampilan digital sebagian guru masih menjadi hambatan.

ABSTRACT

Digital transformation in education has driven the adoption of Learning Management Systems (LMS) as a supportive medium for mathematics learning. LMS plays a vital role in managing, delivering, and evaluating the mathematics learning process efficiently. This study aims to describe the implementation of LMS in supporting digital-based mathematics learning in secondary schools, particularly in enhancing student engagement and the effectiveness of the learning process. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis at SMK Muhammadiyah 03 Sukaraja, which has integrated LMS into its mathematics learning process. The participants include teachers, students, and the principal, selected through purposive sampling. The findings indicate that the implementation of LMS assists teachers in managing mathematics learning materials, assigning tasks, and monitoring student progress in real-time. Students find it easier to access learning resources anytime and anywhere. However, challenges such as technological infrastructure issues and the lack of digital skills among some teachers remain obstacles.
