LKPD BERBASIS DISCOVERY LEARNING: PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK

ABSTRAK
Pengembangan LKPD berbasis discovery learning bertujuan untuk memajukan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam memenuhi kriteria praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian pengembangan R&D (Research & Development) dengan metode pengembangan 4-D terdiri dari tahap define, tahap design, tahap develop, dan tahap disseminate. Peneliti fokus pada tahap develop bagian hasil uji coba. Data penelitian bersumber dari instrumen berupa tes, dan angket. Pengumpulan data keefektifan dilihat dari tes dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan kegiatan pada LKPD berbasis discovery learning bab Teorema Pythagoras untuk menghitung keberhasilan belajar peserta didik. Pengumpulan data kepraktisan dilihat dari angket respon peserta didik setelah memanfaatkan LKPD berbasis discovery learning. Peneliti membahas mengenai rata-rata hasil keefektifan kegiatan pada LKPD berbasis discovery learning bab Teorema Pythagoras yang dikerjakan peserta didik kelas VIIIA sebesar 85,93 yang berarti tuntas. Rata-rata hasil kepraktisan pada angket respon peserta didik kelas VIII terhadap LKPD berbasis discovery learning materi Teorema Pythagoras sebanyak 2,85 dengan skor maksimal 4,00 yang berarti memiliki kategori valid. Jadi, LKPD berbasis discovery learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika bab Teorema Pythagoras.
ABSTRACT
This study aims to develop a discovery learning-based student worksheet (LKPD) to improve students’ learning outcomes and to meet the criteria of practicality and effectiveness. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4-D development model, which consists of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The researcher focused on the development stage, particularly the trial testing phase. Data were collected using tests and questionnaires. The effectiveness of the LKPD was measured by students’ ability to solve problems in discovery learning activities on the Pythagorean Theorem topic. At the same time, its practicality was assessed through students’ response questionnaires after using the LKPD. The results showed that the average effectiveness score was 85.93, indicating that the learning outcomes were achieved. The average practicality score was 2.85 out of 4.00, which falls into the valid category. Therefore, the discovery learning-based LKPD is considered effective and practical in improving students’ mathematics learning outcomes on the Pythagorean Theorem topic.
