Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Make A Match Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Pembelajaran IPA

This research was conducted to find out the effect of using the cooperative learning model Make A Match in science subjects on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Bontomaero II, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. The type of research used was experimental with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Two classes were involved, namely the control class and the experimental class. The research subjects were the students of classes V-A and V-B at SDN Bontomaero II. Data collection techniques consisted of pretest and posttest questions as well as observations. The validity of the research was confirmed by expert validators, and the data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential methods. The results showed that the Make A Match learning model had a significant effect on science learning outcomes. After applying the model, the experimental group achieved an average posttest score of 80.50. The “Test Statistics” output showed an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.05, which means Hypothesis 1 (H1) was accepted. In other words, the use of the Make A Match cooperative learning model significantly improved the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Bontomaero II.
