Concentration is a critical factor in education as it enables students to maintain focus and complete tasks efficiently. Many students find it challenging to sustain concentration in traditional learning environments. The Montessori method, which emphasizes independence and hands-on learning, offers an alternative approach to improve students' concentration. This study aims to explore the efficacy of the Montessori method in enhancing the concentration of primary school students (Phase A) through a literature review. A literature review methodology was employed, involving the collection and analysis of research related to the implementation of the Montessori method in primary education. The findings of the literature review suggest that the Montessori method is effective in improving students' concentration, with positive impacts on their independence and problem-solving abilities. In conclusion, the Montessori method is effective in enhancing students' concentration. Educators and policymakers are encouraged to adopt this method, supported by several strategies: (1) providing freedom in learning, (2) teacher training, and (3) collaboration between schools and parents. While effective, challenges such as costs, training, and curriculum adaptation need to be addressed to facilitate widespread implementation.
