Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat inteligensi dan variasi gaya belajar siswa SMP, khususnya gaya belajar visual, auditori, dan kinestetik. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain survei korelasional, data dikumpulkan melalui tes inteligensi dan angket gaya belajar yang telah disesuaikan dengan karakteristik peserta didik. Uji normalitas Kolmogorov–Smirnov dilakukan untuk memastikan kelayakan penggunaan analisis parametrik, kemudian hubungan antarvariabel diuji menggunakan korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inteligensi memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan variasi gaya belajar; hubungan positif sedang tampak pada gaya belajar visual, hubungan positif lemah ditemukan pada gaya belajar auditori, sedangkan gaya belajar kinestetik menunjukkan korelasi negatif sedang, yang menandakan bahwa siswa dengan inteligensi lebih rendah lebih cenderung memilih strategi belajar berbasis aktivitas fisik. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberagaman karakteristik kognitif dan preferensi belajar siswa perlu dipertimbangkan dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif dan efektif di lingkungan SMP.
