The increasing participation of women in the workforce, as reported by data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), places working mothers in dual-role demands that may affect their psychological condition and subjective well-being. This condition highlights the importance of examining internal psychological factors that can support the well-being of working mothers. This study aims to explore and examine the relationship between parenting optimism and self-efficacy with the subjective well-being of working mothers. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed in this study. The sample consisted of 100 working mothers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using scales measuring subjective well-being, parenting optimism, and self-efficacy, each employing a four-point Likert format. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that parenting optimism and self-efficacy were positively and significantly associated with the subjective well-being of working mothers (R = 0.302; R² = 0.091; p < 0.05). These findings indicate that both variables simultaneously contribute an effective 9.1% to the subjective well-being of working mothers.
