Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi coping pada remaja dari keluarga broken home serta menganalisis peran guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) sebagai secure base dalam mendukung pengembangan coping yang adaptif. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan karena remaja broken home rentan mengalami permasalahan emosional, kesulitan penyesuaian diri, dan penggunaan strategi coping yang maladaptif, sementara kajian mengenai peran guru BK sebagai figur keterikatan di lingkungan sekolah masih terbatas. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologis. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap siswa broken home yang telah mengikuti layanan BK. Sebanyak 206 pernyataan bermakna dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap awal remaja cenderung menggunakan emotion-focused coping yang maladaptif, seperti menarik diri dan menghindari masalah. Namun, keberadaan guru BK sebagai secure base melalui dukungan emosional, penerimaan, dan pemberian rasa aman berkontribusi terhadap perubahan strategi coping menjadi lebih adaptif, terutama problem-focused coping. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa guru BK tidak hanya berperan sebagai pemberi layanan konseling, tetapi juga sebagai figur keterikatan yang berfungsi sebagai secure base di lingkungan sekolah. Peran tersebut penting dalam membantu stabilitas emosional dan pengembangan coping adaptif pada remaja broken home.
