Penerapan Reading Aloud Digital Interaktif Berbantuan Cerita Rakyat Lokal Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menyimak Siswa

This study aims to improve listening skills among third-grade students at SD Negeri 030 Ongko during the 2025/2026 academic year using an interactive digital reading-aloud method supported by local folk tales. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) involved 25 students (10 boys and 15 girls) in Polewali Mandar Regency. Data were collected through observation sheets, listening tests, and documentation, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that this method significantly improved both classroom activities and students' listening skills. Teacher and student activities consistently progressed from poor or adequate categories in Cycle I to the "very good" category (95%) by the end of Cycle II. Crucially, students' listening test results showed substantial improvement, where the classical mastery learning increased from 56% in Cycle I to 96% in Cycle II, successfully meeting the success indicator. In conclusion, the interactive digital reading-aloud method integrated with local folklore effectively enhances elementary students' listening competencies.
