Penerapan Tari Pesta Panen Mappadendang untuk Meningkatkan Psikomotorik Siswa SDN 6 Bulu-Bulu

This study aims to develop students' psychomotor skills through the implementation of the traditional harvest dance (Mappadendang) for fifth-grade students. The method used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR), with twenty three students as subjects. A sample size of eight students was used. The object of this study was the Mappadendang harvest dance. The research activities were carried out in two cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The actions given were in the form of psychomotor assessments through Mappadendang dance learning. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and tests. Based on the results of the two cycles of classroom action research, it was found that the implementation of the Mappadendang dance had a positive impact on improving the psychomotor skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 6 Bulu-Bulu. This was reflected in the increase in the percentage of student activity implementation, from the poor category in cycle I to the very good category in cycle II. Furthermore, the results of the students' psychomotor ability tests also showed an increase, from an average category of good in cycle I to the very good category in cycle II.
