Skills Guidance: Model Untuk Mencegah Perilaku Kekerasan Siswa Di Sekolah Dasar

This research aims to identify students who are victims and perpetrators of violence in elementary schools and develop a social skills guidance model that is valid, interesting and practical as an alternative solution for handling students' violent behavior in elementary schools. This research was conducted using a (Research and Development) approach. Researchers use a procedural development model in this research, namely a descriptive model where in this research the researcher creates the steps that must be followed to produce a certain product. The data obtained in this research was analyzed descriptively and narratively based on percentage levels of categories and dimensions regarding the aspects being measured. Meanwhile, preliminary study data regarding the level of student violent behavior and needs/expectations obtained through questionnaires given to teachers and/or students will be analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis. Next, to determine the effectiveness of the social skills guidance development model for overcoming student violent behavior, it was analyzed using inferential statistical analysis techniques. The research results are: 1) An overview of the level of violent behavior among elementary school students in Majene Regency still often occurs with forms of violent behavior dominated by physical violence and psychological violence. 2) The developed model is a model that has gone through a validation stage carried out by experts and practitioners in schools so that the model has been tested both constructively/contentally and operationally descriptively, then this model has undergone various kinds of revisions based on suggestions and input from validators. Next, the implementation of the model developed is tested through simulations carried out by teachers to find out how the model is implemented in schools
