MODEL GALLERY WALK BERBANTUAN CARD SHORT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR

Student activity and learning motivation in class IV is still low. So there is a need for a model with appropriate methods to increase student learning activity and motivation. The model with the method, namely the gallery walk model with the card sort method, can increase student learning activity and motivation. This research was conducted on 20 research subjects who were class VI students at SD Negeri 39 Tamalalang. Data collection uses observation instruments and questionnaires. The results of the research show that the gallery walk learning model assisted by the card sort method can increase students' learning activities and learning motivation in science learning in Class IV of SD Negeri 39 Tamalalang. This is proven by data from observations of student activities and student motivation questionnaires in cycle 1 which were in the good category, while in cycle II they were in the very good category. whereas in cycle I the motivation questionnaire was in the sufficient category, while in cycle II it was in the good category. Based on the student activity observation sheet and student learning motivation questionnaire in cycle I and cycle II, it can be concluded that there has been an increase in student activity and learning motivation
