This research was motivated by the finding of the problem of low reading comprehension skills in students. This happens because the learning process has not used an appropriate learning model to improve students' reading comprehension skills. This research aims to improve students' reading comprehension skills using the scramble learning technique. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with the research subjects being class IV students at SD Negeri 41 Bontotene, totaling 26 students, consisting of 14 boys and 12 girls. The research was carried out in September 2023 at SD Negeri 41 Bontotene. The approach chosen in implementing this research is a qualitative and quantitative approach. The quantitative approach is used for data obtained from the reading comprehension test of students before and after being given treatment. Meanwhile, the qualitative approach is used for qualitative data in the form of observation results, interviews, and documentation. The research results showed that student learning outcomes in cycle I were 63.88% and in the test student learning outcomes in cycle II increased to 85.34%. It can be concluded that the use of the scramble learning technique has an effect on improving reading comprehension skills in class IV students at SD Negeri 41 Bontotene.
